New beginnings…...

For the past 8 years I have been running my personal site under the moniker Intrinsia, and while it has served me well it has come time for a change. For the past year I have debated with myself on where to go with my personal site; do I keep the name? Do I register it under something new? Vancouver 2010...

I have relocated to Vancouver for the next few months to work on some really cool stuff! I cannot disclose what the project is yet but I am super stoked to be working on it and I can’t wait to see it up on the big screen. FumeFX Tests...

I have had a bit of time before I head back to vancouver to work on a couple more feature films so I started playing around with some more FumeFX setups. One I have been wanting to try for a while now is to come up with a sort of vortex effect that could be developed further to create a tornado, dust devil, or any other type of swirling effect. The basic setup uses a relatively simple Pflow setup to give a swirling mass of particles that can be used by FumeFX to create velocities for the smoke. New site...

I have taken some time to redo and rethink things over the past couple months in regards to this site. I have gone back and forth on the design trying to create something that was both easy for visitors to navigate, and easy for me to update and upload new content.  After much debate I have decided to stick with wordpress as it is simply the easiest framework to build upon. Updating it is far easier than having to use Flash, and I can do it from both home and on the road without having to worry if I have the right software installed. New site, tutorials, and demo reel…...

I have been busy the past few weeks  working on the site and completely re-doing it. It has been made more user friendly to any visitors that may drop by. I love the WordPress framework but I find sometimes it can become cumbersome when it comes to organizing everything; so I have elected to build it again so I can have more control over updates and posting content. I am also working on a new demo reel which is looooooong overdue… last one was cut in 2006 so this one will have completely new material! Lots of cool things to show and I am excited to get it completed....

After 2 months of working out in Vancouver I have returned back home.
